After the first part of Gadar movie became a super hit the director planned to make a sequel to this movie. The second part was named “Gadar 2” and written by the same writer. The lead characters are repeated in the Gadar 2-star cast. 

The second part of Gadar was plotted on the return of “Tara Singh aka Sunny Deol” to Pakistan to save his son who was imprisoned during the Ind-Pak war in 1971. All the characters in this movie play realistic role play and make the second part even more successful and popular.
