ISRO: Chandrayaan 3 budget - chandrayaan 3 live location
ISRO:
ISRO, also known as the Indian Space Research Organisation an emerging space organization in this world. This organization is a pride of India as it has the power to make and launch a system of space crafts. It is getting popular daily due to its extraordinary development in space research.
ISRO was formed on the independence day of India in 1969, before that India had INCOSPAR (Indian National Committee for Search Research). It was established in 1962 and supervised by Vikram A. Sarabhai. Later, ISRO took its place and was monitored by the DOS (Department of Space) governed by the Govt. Of India.
Here in this blog, we will know the latest mission placed by the ISRO, its budget, and its live location. As we all know, ISRO’s latest mission was Chandrayan 3 and it was launched on 14th July 2023. Now it has successfully landed on the Moon. Now let's check its budget and location;
Chandrayaan- 3
Chandrayaan 3 is the third mission launched by the Indian Space Organisation ISRO. Before that, ISRO launched 2 missions to the Moon. It was a very sorrowful day when the Chandrayaan 2 mission failed as it couldn’t do a soft landing.
But India didn’t stop there. The brilliant scientist of India decided to move forward with this mission in 2019. The objectives of the Moon mission are very wide. India wants to know all the geographical details of Earth’s sub-planet Moon as well as other exoplanets.
Chandrayaan-3 was designed by an Indian scientist consisting of 2 payloads. This time, the orbiter was removed as a payload because it completed its mission in 2019. So, the scientists decided to design it with Lander ‘Vikram’ and Rover ‘Pragyan’.
The critical part of this mission was the Chandrayaan 3 had to land on the lunar south pole of the Moon. This side of the Moon is invisible to the planet Earth. So, the whole world was curious about the success of this mission.
Chandrayaan- 3 Budget:
The whole world will be shocked to know about the budget of Chandrayaan 3. ISRO is also known for its efficiency and dedication to space research. A space mission is not a small thing it needs a high amount of investment. India is a developed country, but India has always had a low budget for space missions.
So, managing these big missions is very difficult for India. India always aims to complete a mission successfully on a low budget by using its own resources due to cost-effectiveness. ISRO started its journey from scratch, but now they are launching heavy missions successfully with its own technology.
It is more important to know that, India has successfully done the Chandrayaan 3 mission on a less amount than its own mission Chandrayaan 3. The total budget spent by India on Chandrayaan 2 mission is around 978 Crores but surprisingly India passed its Chandrayaan 3 mission successfully in just 615 Crores. Now every country looks at India due to the efficiency and developments in space research.
Chandrayaan- 3 Live location
Chandrayaan 3 was launched in July 2023 and it successfully landed on the Moon’s lunar south pole. The mission lands on the Moon on the 23rd of August 2023 and time 6.04 pm. The landing place was coded within it and it successfully landed on the same place softly.
After its landing, the lander Vikram set free the Rover Pragyan. The rover Pragyan will continue its research alone now. As per the latest news, The Pragyan rover traveled a total of 8 meters on the moon. We will know the next updates of Rover Pragyan’s live location later.
